Barefoot Beach Clean up

The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, now in its eighth year, helps keep beaches, rivers, parks and lakes across America “barefoot friendly.”  In 2014, Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches, along with community volunteers, are embarking on a tour of 15 cleanups nationwide, stopping in Chicago, IL.

Volunteers are also invited to attend a celebration, organized by the Surfrider Foundation, featuring the exotic, surf-inspired music of ALEWIFE. Tickets for the celebration will be distributed at the cleanup.
